Dining – From a light flavourful lunch to a delicious evening meal…
Our summer lunchtime menu is bursting with lighter options for a hot afternoon and some delicious sharing platters for you to gather some good friends around and indulge yourselves.
The summer evening menu is packed full of seasonal classics, a few novelties to explore and some treats like tomahawk steak, lobster or crab that need to be ordered a few days in advance. There are always a few extra delights on the ‘specials’ board to champion an ingredient that is at its peak of flavour at the moment or some rare goodie that our chefs have managed to source.
Our puddings are always worth saving room for. Everything is home cooked with love. Our kitchen is a happy and enthusiastic environment full of people that really enjoy working together and it shows in the quality of the food they produce. Wherever possible we source all of our ingredients locally and sustainably. Our Head Chef Andy has a passion for cooking, he explains his philosophy in ‘Our Food’ below.

We have a sunny garden with lots of shady tables and a pergola that seats 8 around a large ash tree stump table. There are a number of tables in the bar that are socially distanced and a number of tables in the restaurant arranged with lots of space between them. We also have a more private section of the restaurant that can be reserved and curtained off for special family occasions.

We have provide a popular takeaway service on Wednesday to Saturday nights, with one or 2 ‘dishes of the day’.
We take orders over the telephone before 3pm on the day and the meals are ready for collection from the kitchen door between 6 and 7pm.
